BILL OF SALE
and
HIP/EYE/HEALTH GUARANTEE
We go to great lengths to produce healthy,
sound puppies. We take immense pride in satisfying new owners with
the selection of their new puppy and very much want you to be
pleased with your new addition.
If upon receipt, you
are unhappy with your puppy for any reason, you may ship the puppy
back the NEXT DAY for a full refund of the purchase price, no
questions asked. You will, however, assume all shipping costs.
You will have seven (7) days in which
to have your veterinarian examine your puppy for any health
problems. If there is a health problem that has resulted from
negligence on the breeder’s behalf and which cannot be rectified,
you may ship the puppy to us with a veterinarian statement for a
full refund of the purchase price. Again, you will incur all
shipping costs.
If, before the age of 26 months, the dog
develops:

Hip Dysphasia, as evaluated by the
Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and validated
by a review of the x-rays by our veterinarian.

Progressive Retinal Atrophy and/or
Congenital Cataract(s), as certified by the Canine Eye
Registration Foundation (CERF)
|
You shall have a choice of a
replacement puppy of equal value and similar quality or
a full refund with the return of the dog.
Replacement shall be supplied free of all charges except shipping.
All expenses of shipping both dog and new puppy will be at the
buyer’s expense. If the value of the replacement puppy is greater
than the original purchase price, the buyer will be responsible for
paying the difference before replacement. If you prefer to keep the
dog, half of the purchase price will be
refunded upon written proof from a veterinarian that said dog has
been spayed/neutered.
This guarantee is non-transferable
to any other persons and/or animal, other than in the original
transaction. We reserve the right to have the animal seen by a
veterinarian of our choice before fulfilling our guarantee. Please
note that all of our puppies are identifiable by a microchip
implanted at six (6) weeks of age.
The buyer has several responsibilities for
the terms of this guarantee to remain in effect:

The breeder must be notified within
fifteen (15) days of diagnosis of Hip Dysphasia, Progressive
Retinal Atrophy or Congenital Cataract(s).

A copy of x-ray, OFA, and/or CERF report
must be sent to the breeder to be reviewed by a veterinarian of
our choice.

The dog may not be spayed/neutered without
our consent.

The dog must be returned, euthanized or
spayed/neutered before reaching 28 months of age (but not without
our consent).

The dog may not have been bred prior to
the claim, OFA x-rays, or CERF exam.
Claim for replacement or refund shall be in
writing and must be accompanied by the following:

A copy of this guarantee.

Original AKC Registration Certificate with
ownership signed back to us.

Veterinary certification of Hip or Eye
defect as described above.

Veterinary certification of spay/neuter or
euthanasia (after our consent).
